The least exciting thing about the iPhone Duo is it's weight (and a little bit it's thickness). 254g is as heavy as the Fold 5 was. I had that phone and the weight was the most annoying thing about it. Compared to the Fold 8 (see image) it feels like it's in a different class

Overall Duo thoughts from a Foldable user! + Many interesting software ideas, like the side dock + I think they said the foldable screen has glass on the outside & is scratch resistant?? + IP68 + Under-display camera looks cool + Price is not as bad as I feared - I personally think it looks ugly

Comment 1: chinese companies still cannot bring anything new to the market but just some cheap copies of other products

Comment 2: german car manufacturers are cooked

It just occurred to me that the reason why Whoop & Oura succeeded with while new smartwatch startups all failed is Apple's platform limitations. 90%+ of premium buyers use iPhone and the platform limitations make any smartwatch other than an Apple watch a non-starter, while the screenless […]

Proton Drive's Linux client is now in the works!

screenshot of the announcement email which says
"Proton Drive is up to 3x faster
-------------------------------

We rebuilt Proton Drive around a single, shared engine that now powers uploading, downloading, and encryption across all our apps. Uploads are up to 3x faster and downloads up to 2x faster, plus smoother scrolling and quicker loading in Photos. It also allowed us to focus on deeper integration with the rest of the Proton ecosystem (such as Drive in Lumo) and support for a Linux client, which we're now actively building."
