It’s…um, worth noting that said image is just a tracing of an actual picture of a real musher with real dogs, who seems quite frankly perplexed as to why he was chosen as a reference.

I mean, trying to claim dogs’ feet are torn up while showing footage of a dog clearly wearing protective foot gear is certainly A Choice.

MoonShadow has never been what I thought
*should* happen in 'The Owl House? I had an interesting conversation the other day with a friend who is just getting into The Owl House (ie, I am making her watch the show) and she was a little perplexed when I explained that MoonShadow wasn't even necessarily what I *wanted* to happen in canon.

Like I said, it was very self-indulgent. I sometimes also have people ask me what I would have done differently in season three had it been up to me and...honestly, by the time season three aired, I was already so deep in the guts of my own story that it really doesn't matter. I enjoyed season three. My own fic means the world to me.
They're...two different things. Two outcomes diverged in a red-leafed wood.

HOW IT’S GOING The sled blobs ran their first race this past weekend: The Northern Pines Sled Dog Race in Iron River, Wisconsin.

In the kid’s defense, it does kind of look like a tadpole.

Impressive turnout for a chilly windy day in the Northwoods. Lots of honking, cheering and support from passers by, far outweighing the occasional heckler that drove past.

Not April Fools! Between freezing and thawing, sleet and freezing rain, the yard is just one big glacier now.

Snow and ice has melted and refrozen into a thick glacier-like flow, freezing a chain link gate into place with no sign of improvement.
