I was a judge on this as well! Lots of cool ideas & aesthetics here, great job to everyone who participated cause I think this has to be one of the hardest genres to make something for in general, nonetheless with a deadline. I spent a little too much time in training mode on some of y'alls games!

jurying the fighting game jam is great because it reveals the true stages of fighting game development: - game is too simple to have infinite combos - game has many infinite combos easily found within ten minutes

Case in point: * Game released in 2017 * It has a reliable infinite prevention system since 2020 * Which was revised in 2022 and became *almost bulletproof - no infinites found for 4 whole years! * A player found this very-precise-timed infinite -two days ago- * sigh and repeat
