OH. right! i get it now!

i get why AI is so depressing to me. because covid already shrunk my world to almost nothing, where almost all of my life revolves around socializing and watching videos on the internet (which is being ruined by AI) and creating creative works through coding (which is being ruined by AI), often using open source tools and libraries (which are being ruined by AI)

i already had so little and now even that is being rotted away before my eyes

Really interesting take, would explain a good amount of the art direction. Really hoping this was the intent - Nintendo did pull a similar thing with the Link's Awakening remake and I thought it was an amazing idea. Yeah, I think they should have leaned even harder on the puppet show aesthetic here.

A little talked about symptom of ADHD is Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria (RSD). This is an intense feeling that everyone hates you. RSD comes in waves, and does not require events to trigger it. You can be walking along with friends having a great time and suddenly you feel an outsider.

Finished MeowGun: Hell Denizen! Had a blast from start to finish. It plays and feels like a Build game running on the Quake Engine - the personality and attitude, the sheer amount of amazing references and fun secrets... and the gunplay felt amazing too! My hat's off to the devs
