I posted this on Instagram and someone commented "You won't get a job with that attitude!" 1) I've been in continuous employment since I was 16 2) If setting boundaries outside of working hours means I can't have the job, then I don't want it Sometimes, just say no. That's enough. #edusky

What is the incentive to being an excellent teacher? Yeah, obviously, we love the kids. We love helping them. But it is a job. Why bother going above and beyond? What's the reward? The best teachers get the trickiest classes, more responsibility, more stress No wonder we're leaving #edusky

Lots of the list seems like common sense, or stuff we might willingly choose to do... And that's fine. But being *expected* to fulfill anything on the list is wrong and you're within your rights to refuse. Planning, teaching & marking is enough. Know your rights 🤝🏻 Full pod out tomorrow #edusky

I remember being told we absolutely had to print photos of children doing practical work if nothing was in books so that something could be stuck in. Insane. & As someone who unapologetically hates doing classroom displays, I'm glad to see that on the list!
