I have a bad feeling that a lot of the ICE new hires are guys that were fired from local PDs for brutality, domestic abuse, and/or corruption. And that this is not a bug, but a feature.

Also, I'm starting to think that private for-profit health insurance should be banned when M4A is implemented. Otherwise conservatives and health insurance companies will constantly be working to degrade the public system.

Meanwhile, within what's now the Republican Party, people like Rove who were party icons just a few years ago are now pariahs. People like Rove, Dick Cheney, Bill Krystol, etc. were considered far right wing, bordering on extremism, but now they almost seem like moderates by comparison.
