Was just reading about this incredible bit of bioware. It's activated by sequences of characters (some of them VERY long and complicated), which interface directly with the hippocampus to create immersive movie-like experience that feel like *you're actually in them*... Amazing stuff

Bloody *hell* I only ever went out in the Panda a few times (it stopped working as quickly as you'd imagine), but I've never forgotten the rattling... Years later, I went out with a girl who drove a Mini (before they had their renaissance), and it was like guiding a herd of rhinos down a motorway

Oh my god... this just got me flashing back to the Fiat Panda... We weren't a driving family, but when my cousin passed her test (first among us!), she went out and bought a brown Panda. It was basically a cardboard box on wheels; you'd have had a smoother, more reliable ride in the Flintstones car

Relevant for reading across the board, I'd say - as true for fiction as for academic work A book (or article, or monograph) is an invitation to step into someone else's home (/inner world) You can't get mad about the way they've decorated, or that you'd have done something else with the garden
