Linguistics, language technology & inclusive education come together to remove barriers to communication! Researchers at @tcddublin.bsky.social's ABAIR.ie initiative have developed Géabaire, a new Irish-language communication tool for autistic children who are non-speaking / have limited speech.

Research from the ⁠Northern Ireland Life and Times Survey shows broad public support for the Irish language & Ulster-Scots. The study, led by LIFELANGS Co-PIs ⁠Dr Aisling O'Boyle, ⁠Prof Lorna Carson & ARK CoDirector Dr Paula Devine found robust public support for both Irish language & Ulster-Scots.
