Unpopular opinion: these are two of the unsung heroes of the LOTR genre.
The original animated Hobbit and Return of the King. I will admit the Hobbit was the real unsung hero here as it was all hand painted and has an artistic feel that the later Return Of the King didn't quite achieve. But they were both better than the live action animation of the two towers which was frankly pretty awful.

When on the borders of Devon and Cornwall, one must learn to swing both ways.
Two cream tea scones. One with jam first, the other with cream first. Which is right? Who really cares, they are just delicious.

AI will change the world.... it will enable marketing that no one wanted. I wonder how much power and water went into making this.
A friendly looking poo floating in a toilet with large puppy like eyes and a cheeky grin. In the original 90 second video it blinks and maybe even waves from the bowl. It's nightmare fuel mixed with Disney.

A Stanislov Holy cartoon from 1970. As apt today as it was then I would think.
The top frame shows two line drawn people on an island digging up from.the middle to build the starts of towers.

The middle frame shows the island divided entirely as the towers rise.

The bottom frame shows the two towers firing cannons at each other from the tops of the towers. The island has disappeared. The top frame shows the towers full of holes and beginning to crumble.

The middle frame shows only low tower sections on the sea with the two figures beginning to be submerged.

The bottom frame shows both figures sat together dejected on a pile of cannonballs in middle of a sea. There is no island and no resource left.

RIP Desmond Morris whose books inspired my interest into my niche field of my career. He was one of those scientists who changed the way we perceived other animals and ourselves as a species.

This family photo has been in the album since I was born and is of my mom aged 5... It still gives me nightmares... "He knows when you are sleeping... he knows when you're awake..."
Scary Santa is an old sepia tome photo from the 1950s. His eyes stare through your very soul and his hand is the size of a child's head.

"Beware the barrenness of a busy life" - Socrates I am reminded of this wisdom as I sit reading the paper with a cup of coffee and contemplating the day before it runs away with itself and it becomes tomorrow.

Headline Vs. where my mind goes upon reading it.
Headline reads "octopus now a much bigger problem than feared". A "colossal octopus" attacking ship, pen and wash by Pierre Denys-Montfort, engraved by Étienne Claude Voysard

Today's game is to turn my day out into a hunt for images that follow a pattern akin to a children's book. So. "A man went to Bath and did the math. To find thirteen images along his path. All need to be in order and follow the flow. Can he make it the end? We don't know."

I reach for glass, a phantom pane. To glimpse the world, to feel the rain. But only air, a chilling draught. A vacant space, a broken craft.
A hole in the wall where a window should be. A replacement is forthcoming, but the chill is severe at present.

Let's have an NDA friendly social engineering war story: AKA - The first time I "robbed" a bank. This was about 10 years ago and this was a job to try and SE my way into three branches. I was allowed to choose and focussed on smaller branches in smaller towns. Something that might not exist today
