this is one of the first “wind waker style“ pieces I did. ca. 2008 or 2009? not a fan of the art direction on the new oot remake, but I AM super happy that so many people will get to experience the game again/ for the first time. #zelda #ocarinaoftime #oot #link #switch2 #nintendo #legendofzelda

A solitary figure stands before a somewhat ruined landscape, a small aerial drone just above. Ahead, light may be the setting sun or some form of pollution

this is so on point. How to Draw: 1. draw a box 2. add the details. 😃

Go give this artist some love. one of the best pixel artists I’ve seen. ❤️

I agree. it’s that insanity that piques my interest :) Regardless, your work is stunning, and I hope you continue to make larger pixel art too. ❤️

This might be a hot-take, but I love pixel art for the constraint it places on the art. The larger you go, the farther away from that constraint you get. Your larger pieces are exquisite - but I think increasing the canvas size inversely affects the "punch" factor.

This is a small abstract I made in my studio last week. The black ink is hand-ground from a Japanese ink stick. The red is a homemade Brazilwood ink It's on an 8" x 8" canvas board. I'm endlessly delighted by the combination of structure and organicity ink offers..... #ink #abstractart #art

Designed this colorful retro typography piece for anyone whose patience gets shorter with every passing year. #Typography #RetroArt #Sarcasm #Art

A typographic graphic on a dark background featuring the phrase "THE OLDER I GET, THE HELLER THE NO." in 3D, retro-style block letters. The words are arranged inside brightly colored, staggered rectangular banners in shades of orange, purple, yellow, green, and pink, accented with small white sparkle graphics.

And the art direction. like they ran it through DLSS to make it look "better" 🤮

That this is less of a "fan appreciation" project and more of a "we need something that will sell the Switch 2" project.

the new zelda trailer feels exactly like a disney live-action remake to me. even though it’s not disney and it’s not live-action. the cash-grab vibes are strong.

Hang in there - there are a lot of good people in the world. Do what you can with what you've got and enjoy life's journey - don't give it away to people like Trump who have wasted theirs.
