How do you plead? Alongside being a page artist for @tazbalancezine.bsky.social I also got to be a spot artist which gave me a chance to make some smaller art pieces! I worked with Pip who wrote a wonderful fic about John and the Hunger which you can find in your copy of Through the Static!

The Light of Creation! My second spot art piece for Pip's fic in @tazbalancezine.bsky.social is this jar containing the Light of Creation! Since ideas of fate and destiny are prominent in TAZ Balance, I used the red string of fate to tie this jar together.

🌸 So excited I can finally share with you my finished piece for the @tazbalancezine.bsky.social !!! 🌸 This show holds such a special place in my heart, and Hurley and Sloane's finale was the MOMENT I knew this story would change my life! 🌈 #taz #thezonecast #tazbalance #theadventurezone #art

A digital painting of Hurley and Sloane from The Adventure Zone. Sloane is cradling Hurley in her arms while they turn into the blossom tree, and petals are falling all around them. Some of Sloane’s hair is tangled in the tree branches. She is staring directly at the viewer and saying “Don’t let this happen again.”

Fantasy Costco! Where ALL your dreams come true! (Got a deal for you!) My final piece for the @tazbalancezine.bsky.social (link below)! When they asked me to join I knew immediately I wanted to do a Fantasy Costco picture, it was the one thing I always wanted to draw fanart of and had never!

Bright digital fanart of Taako, Merle, and Magnus from The Adventure Zone shopping at Fantasy Costco, they are riding down a crowded ailse of goods on a shopping cart with a toy car attached to the front meant for children. Merle is in the car, Taako is in the basket, and Magnus is pushing/riding on the back. There are lots of goods for sale including potions, rope, ball bearings, spell components, and rations.

I am SO beyond thrilled to have written my first Taakitz fic for @tazbalancezine.bsky.social !!! They are so special to me, and so is this fic, and I can't wait to be able to share it with you all ❤️ Zine releases Feb. 12th!

Zine graphic for a contributor preview for Through the Static: An Adventure Zone Balance fanzine.

The bottom left corner is cut out from the rest, with a dark galaxy design. The rest of the graphic looks like parchment, with a text box framed in the top left and bottom right corners. There are seven bird silhouettes flying up from the edge of the text.

The text reads:
"It's not--because of your cooking," Kravitz started, still clunky and wrong despite having rehearsed this in his head.

Taako lifted an eyebrow. "Duh," he deadpanned, "my cooking is fucking fantastic."

"Yes, I...I'm sure it is."

"But you wouldn't know," Taako continued, sounding terse enough for Kravitz to cringe, "because you've never..."

Taako trailed off, expression slowly shifting as he realized what it was that Kravitz was unsuccessfully trying to explain.

"Hang on. Wait a minute. Hold all your damn horses and the stone, babe. It's not just my food, is it? I've never seen you eat anything, have I? I mean, at the Chug and Squeeze we split a bottle or two but--"

Although the thought went unfinished, Kravitz nodded to confirm the unspoken question.

"I haven't needed to," he explained, "not for a very long time."
