I will fight every day to make sure the Auditor's office protects the people of Iowa and I'll ask tough questions of anyone, regardless of party. I’ll use my financial and legal experience and my commitment to speaking truth to power to make sure that Iowans continue to have an independent watchdog.

Last night I participated in Luther College’s candidate forum. I was proud to answer questions about my campaign to protect Iowans’ tax dollars and continue the independent leadership in the Auditor’s office. Unfortunately, my opponent chose not to show up. Iowans deserve leaders who answer to them.

As an Iowan, I was taught that you don’t look the other way when something is wrong. Under Rob’s leadership, the Auditor’s office has uncovered record amounts of waste, fraud, abuse. As State Auditor, I will fight every day to protect Iowans and ask tough questions of anyone, regardless of party.

Megan and I hit the doors in Ottumwa this weekend and had a great time talking with voters about what the Auditor's office can do for them.

I am proud to have the backing of Iowa Steelworkers. I know that Iowans work hard for their money, and as Auditor, I'll honor that by working to cut waste and protect your tax dollars. I'll follow the money and call out abuse - no matter who's in charge.

Polls show I have the edge on my opponent and with just 32 days left, I need your help to finish strong on November 3rd. Now’s the time to get involved with our campaign to elect an independent watchdog for State Auditor. Make your plan to vote then share with your family and friends. Let’s do this!

I don’t take corporate PAC money, so we depend on our grassroots supporters chipping in what they can. Can you pitch in $34 dollars to help us finish the last 34 days of this election strong? Gratefully, Taylor secure.actblue.com/donate/wetta...

It was a busy weekend in Southern and Eastern Iowa! We had pancakes in Centerville, a great dinner in Henry County, and I got up on the soapbox in Clinton. Everyone is fired up to vote in this election. Early voting starts on October 14th - I’d be honored to have your vote for State Auditor.

I'm proud to be endorsed by Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 33. Iowa workers can trust that as Auditor, I'll protect their tax dollars from abuse and work hard to restore government efficiency.

Thanks to everyone in Coon Rapids who came out to support the campaign. Iowans in rural communities are looking for leaders who show up for them. As auditor, I’ll be an independent watchdog who puts what’s best for Iowans ahead of party politics.

020

Taylor Wettach @wettachforiowa.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

My opponent has taken tens of thousands of dollars from corporate execs and PACs. The auditor’s job is to provide accountability and transparency in government - not serve a partisan or corporate agenda. That’s why I don’t take corporate PAC money. You will always know who I answer to: Iowans.

Hi, I'm Taylor Wettach and I'm running to be Iowa's next State Auditor. I grew up in Muscatine where I learned the values of honesty and hard work. I've carried those values with me and will be an independent watchdog in the Auditor's office who always puts Iowans first.

Taylor Wettach @wettachforiowa.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

I spent the evening with a terrific group engaged voters in Sioux Center last night. They're looking for someone who will continue the independent leadership in the State Auditor's office. That's why I don't take a dime of corporate PAC money - I answer to Iowans, not the special interests.

041

Taylor Wettach @wettachforiowa.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

I'm proud to have the support of the men and women building Iowa for my campaign for State Auditor. Iowa's Building Trades Unions represent some of the hardest working people in our state and they deserve an auditor who can be trusted to guard their tax dollars.

044

Taylor Wettach @wettachforiowa.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

Chris Cournoyer doesn't think the auditor should be able to fully investigate fraud and abuse. I disagree. The auditor's job is to protect taxpayer money. It's not able politics, it's about public trust. As auditor I will use the office to root out waste and support government efficiency.

Taylor Wettach @wettachforiowa.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

I’m traveling to every corner of Iowa to talk to voters about what the Auditor’s office can do for them. It was great to be in Wayne County to share more about my campaign to be an independent watchdog ready to protect your tax dollars from abuse - no matter which party is in charge.

Iowa Machinists go to work everyday and help build the infrastructure that keeps our state running. I'm proud to have earned their backing for my campaign for State Auditor. Iowa workers can trust that I'll be an independent watchdog guarding their tax dollars from waste and abuse.

Great day in Nashua and Oelwein meeting with folks who are ready for a State Auditor who will follow the money and hold government accountable no matter who’s responsible. I’m grateful for the conversations, the support, and the determination to bring real accountability to Iowa.

People often ask me what the auditor’s office does. The simple answer: follow the money - no matter where it leads.

I'm proud to have the support of the men and women of IBEW Local 405. Iowans work hard for their money, and I'll work just as hard as State Auditor to ensure your tax dollars are protected from waste and abuse.

I grew up in Muscatine bagging groceries. This community taught me what honesty and hard work look like. I'm tired of watching corruption politicans sell us out. I'm running to keep the Auditor's office independent, to follow the money, and stand up to corruption no matter which party is in charge.

We kicked off the Labor Day weekend celebrating the long legacy of organized labor in Iowa at the John L Lewis museum in Lucas. Iowans work hard for their money and they need an auditor working just as hard to guard their tax dollars from fraud and waste. I'm always proud to stand with Iowa workers.
