Since genAI in gamedev is a topic of discussion recently, I wanted to share my stance on it. I just don't use it for anything. I find AI art as a concept offensive, so why would the same logic not apply to code and any other assets. I feel like AI use weakens the integrity of a work in any medium.

A message in my game declaring "Allumeria does not contain the output of generative AI. All textures, sounds, models, and code, are human made."

Dont let people make you feel like you don’t exist. You do.

I think its just hard for me to accept that i have and deserve people who care for me. Last time i loved someone they broke my trust, and it fucks you up (Aka they only loved me because they fetishized trans women) being an object to someone makes you feel like you arent anything but an object.

sorry if this is a lot but I need people to see this, see me. I love you all. I love my friends. I love myself.(?) (this sounds like a farewell lol, it isnt I just needed to talk about this. thank you)

I'll say things like "I want success. I want community. I want people that want me." but I fail to realize that I have all of it in a way. I have friends who care about me, I have people who will go out of their way to be around me. I have skill, talent, whatnot. But my head wont think that its real

The two parts of my brain are just fighting like one saying "you should be proud, you have people who actually like your work and will pay money for it." and the other, "are they really paying for YOUR work, or were you just the most convenient for them?" I just want them to shut up for once.

Theres this voice saying "you deserve this, you worked hard and succeeded." but theres the logic that says "You got lucky, thats it." I'm just so confused right now and for the past few weeks really. ever since summer really started ive been feeling worse and worse and im worried that it wont stop

I'm in a strange place right now, I'm not quite happy, not quite depressed, just somewhere in the middle. I guess that comes with not taking your meds regularly.. Good things are happening and im so, so happy about it, but I can't help but feel its it isnt deserved. (more below)
