It's great with one exception. I have to squat down like five inches to catch that view.

Thanks! That Arsat was much better than I thought it would be.

Taylor Bright @taylorbright.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Thanks! Relieved I don't have to go back in the camera.

Remember when I was repairing a Kiev 60 and did a CLA on the lenses? Yes, it was a long time ago. Here's the test roll results on Kentmere 100 and the Arsat 80mm. No overlaps and it got 13 frames, but the two bookends weren't usable.

I am, too. This was the first time I've used it.

Well, this is the sum total of the last four months of my picture-taking production. Off to the lab!

When you're desperate to get film out of your camera that has been in there for months.

Not a whole lot new here, but what?

Come to think of it, I have the 17mm Adaptall. I need to break it out again.

I will be back to photography when it stops being meltingly hot. Any. Day. Now.

I say it like Yul Brynner in the King and I. Standard. Or, like eastern Kentucky says eat past tense. 🙂

Thankfully nothing other than some shrubs, but there are now acorns EVERYWHERE. Still have about 30+ ft. of it wedged between the tree and the ground.

Cleanup on aisle tree. Think I'll have to let the professionals take it from here.

We've been pretty lucky this summer, but at least it's not super humid (64 percent.)

Got a kick out of this. My family has a place here that's been in the family for about 100 years. Used to be very middle class. Guess we're going upscale now.

Think used inventory is a problem for a lot of folks. Talked to Blue Moon (where I sell my stuff) a few months ago and the guy told me their used inventory was at the lowest it had been since he had been there.

I believe they went to the V style lugs with the X2D. I also believe these are the same as the ones for the Kiev 60! 😉 I picked up an Op-tech strap because I already had the adapters and here's their compatibility chart, if it helps.

I went to a panel with the publisher of Shelby County Reporter a month ago and also know that Wahl doesn't own 1819. That said, for a minute, I was like really? Gonna put this in the hyper-local bait category with those Threads accounts that claim they're visting Birmingham and need a restaurant.
