i really hate the phrase “what if it was your girlfriend, sister, cousin, ect” because it’s literally putting the possession of women back in the hands of men. you shouldn’t have to imagine a woman who is somehow ‘yours’ to show the bare minimum of basic human respect and decency.

I try hard to be ethical and moralistic. It can be difficult at times due to so much subtly and nuance. The world is so complex that you can’t please everyone. Not that you should please everyone. I make a ton of mistakes and can own up to them. Sometimes, too late and the consequences are set.
