🌊 A dreamlike coastal vision from New Zealander Frances Hodgkins, Wings over Water 1930, echoes the light and colour of Cornwall, where she made her home in 1914. See work by Hodgkins on display at Tate St Ives

Loved the #LilianeLijn exhibition @tatestives.bsky.social Kinetic sculpture, drawing & paintings, inspired by physics, feminism, science fiction. Video is of installation ‘Conjunction of Opposites.’ Born in US in 1939, living in London since 60’s & still working. What an amazing mind! (Sound up)

Liliane Lijn’s work has had a special place in my heart ever since my University of Warwick undergraduate days. The comprehensive new study of her career to date at @tatestives.bsky.social is just magical - koans and much else besides - very highly recommended if you’re in Cornwall this summer.
