I was mentally checked out after beating the main antagonist so many times for the game to keep going. Also, everything about the writing felt like a poorly written YA novel. Definitely would have liked it more if it was a lot tighter.

Absolutely. The controls were majority seated, so I have played through both 100% in VR. The really cool thing about Skyrim is that things are genuinely fucking huge. Its hard to convey the difference between a dragon on screen and a dragon in VR.

I had the HTC Vive and then the Index after that. I barely use it anymore, but the times that I did were realllllly fun. Serious Sam, Fallout, and Skyrim are all wonderful in VR, plus several other 'flagship' titles are amazing. I would love to see it having a future.

Can we talk about the trend of Wiki games? They tutorialize the basics, but anything advanced - along with most of the mechanics inner workings - are only known on wikis. It forces the players to teach other outside of the game, which feels kind of backwards? #bluToid

We were watching the Wolverine Sentinel footage, and... We used to call these "high chair boss battles" because the boss looks like a baby in a high chair and you're on their tray. Now you have to see it, too 😅

I think a lot of what gets me isn't that people are making light of it, it's that it's not even a very good joke. "People died" is a shitty punchline and most don't go beyond the shock value of that. I do agree now that it is almost weaponized by the right in shameful ways.

My mom worked in insurance, so she knew people in the buildings. It was all an enormous shock. Since then the world changed a lot. People started to scapegoat anyone vaguely middle eastern. Our politicians needed revenge. Airlines were no longer secure.

I was in 8th grade during 9/11. We went to high school for math because we were smart so we didn't hear what had happened because we were on the bus back to our school. It was a shock to see everyone so shook after the events.
