ex you mention the population of CA vs Tokyo. Then compare LA county to Tokyo in km³. Ex the state's size is 423,970 km³. Has 6+ LARGE cities and many smaller. It seems to be unlikely for CA city to ever be as dense as Tokyo

What you are seeing is how big retail killed small shops. Between Home Depot (or lowes), Walmart, and others. Small retailers can't compete. What is very annoying is that Suburbia has pulled people out of the cities and away from everything. Also loss of Mass Transit has harmed things.

Theaters suck as a place to watch films. The HUGE screen is nice, but the seats (inc the premium ones) are never comfortable. The food is super expensive. Also, you can't pause it if you want more snacks or to visit the restroom.

I really hate GMs who you have to interrogate to find obvious things in the room. IMHO it's bad game play. Often characters are more experienced with this stuff and have skills that we as players don't.

I am a FAST reader, but I read Dorley slowly. I had to take breaks to let the story sink in. It was worth it. It's both a heavy read and one that is so uplifting once you get to know the women.

People are so afraid to try new things. Even IF you have a cool new game you want to run, it's not unusual for the other players veto the suggestion. Basically making D&D the only game they will play. Which means that if you want to play different genera it needs to use the D&D 5e Rules

I saw ST:TMP in it's first run with my dad. The line for it (at the multiplex where it was showing on 4 screens, was at least as long as the line for Star Wars in it's first run. :D
