Walking back to the car park on Saturday night we were greeted by this character! 🦊 Seemed very tame - just sitting watching people stroll past. #photography #fox #nature #London #wildlife #wildlifephotography

A red fox, sitting on a brick paved surface and looking at the camera.

One of the foxes has acquired a toy (presumably from the garden of one of the local dogs) and is jealously guarding it. I later saw the same fox about half a mile away happily carrying it along! #photography #fox #nature #wildlife #London

Two red foxes on a lawn. The back one is walking right to left, nose to the ground.

The front one is lying down, looking at me. In front of it is a blue circular dog toy.

I’m a keen amateur astrophotographer, and have good knowledge and interest in astronomy in general. I studied physics at university and have a sound understanding of astrophysics from that. Thanks

The moon, taken about a week after last month’s solar eclipse. Taken close to sunset, hence the slight reddish tint. #photography #astrophotography #moon #EastCoastKin

The first quarter crescent moon. Taken at sunset, so a slight red tint

The view from the Royal Observatory in Greenwich Park last Sunday evening. Had a lot of rain yesterday so hopefully not too long before the grass is green again! #photography #London #skyscape #Greenwicj

A view over parched park, with the Palladian Queen’s House in the bottom left. The skyscrapers of Canary Wharf and the O2 Arena are in the distance. The skyscrapers has some high level cloud lit in the evening sunlight

I went there on a geography field trip - still remember it being beautiful. Enjoy!

The Pelican nebula (IC 5070), taken by me last week from London. 36 minutes total exposure. #astrophotography #astronomy #space #EastCoastKin

A long exposure of the night sky, with many stars. Dark orange nebulosity occupies much of the centre

Saw it yesterday, spectacular indeed.

I don’t think the fox spotted me sitting in the garden, so I was able to get quite a good photo today! 🦊 #photography #wildlife #nature #fox #London

I’ve treated myself to a smart telescope! As it arrived during the day my first photo is the sun (and some clouds). More to come as I get to grips with it! #astrophotography #EastCoastKin #photography #sun #space

The electric pump has vanished from our garden water feature… I did catch a photo of the resident fox taking quite an interest in the scene of the crime. I’m sure they’d be more than happy to assist with inquiries! 🦊 #wildlife #fox #London

🤣 I found where it had buried it in next door’s garden, so no ransom calls from foxes, thankfully. It still worked (although I did need a new case!)

Our resident fox and another (possibly a sibling) were playing in the garden yesterday evening. I managed to get a photo, as stayed still long enough for a couple of seconds long exposure. Not sure if this is the one that made off with my phone the other week! #fox #wildlife #photography

Our resident fox, who this morning stole my iPhone when I briefly left it in the garden and buried it in next door’s garden! Recovered thanks to the ‘Find my’ app, although I now need a new case! #photography #fox #nature #wildlife #London

I’m spending a fair bit of time sitting in the garden reading at the moment, so I’m hopeful. This one was nearly a great pic:

Speaking of sheds, we found that the young fox that’s often in the garden has dug its den under the concrete base of the shed. It’s very inquisitive and is still trying to come into the house if it thinks it’s not being watched!

Lovely Hedgehog! I’ve only ever seen one in the garden once, years ago. I think that one was only passing through and not a resident.

This young fox has taken up residence in our garden. He’s even attempted to come into the house a couple of times! #photography #wildlife #fox #nature #London

It’s #TheGlorious25thMay once again, when we remember @terryandrob.bsky.social, John Keel, Sam Vimes and #ThePeoplesRepublicOfTreacleMineRoad. May we all have truth, justice, freedom, reasonably priced love, and a hard boiled egg. #HowDoTheyRiseUp #WearTheLilac
