The new Triptides album was released yesterday. Loving the return to the more retro, Byrdsy sound (including the opening cover of a song of theirs).

#NowPlaying The Haunted Youth - Boys Cry Too (2026) Having played the debut yesterday, have to play this today. Really good follow up, one of the best releases of the year so far for me.

They had some great acoustic versions around that time too….

Tarik Thirteen @tarikthirteen.bsky.social · 09/05/2026

#NowPlaying #5DebutAlbums9599 Death In Vegas - Dead Elvis An album loaded with atmosphere. The opening four tracks alone - grimy beats, distorted guitars, with a sense of menace. Nobody did this quite like them. Big contender for me.

Tarik Thirteen @tarikthirteen.bsky.social · 09/05/2026

#NowPlaying #5DebutAlbums9599 Fountains of Wayne - s/t Was obsessed with this at the time, Radiation Vibe in particular blew my mind when I first heard it.
