Canada took down the United States at Davos, leading the way for others to confront the US threat: "You cannot live within the lie of mutual benefit through integration when integration becomes the source of your subordination." This is the beginning of the end of the US.

A nitrate photolysis source of tropospheric HONO is incompatible with current understanding of atmospheric chemistry
Abstract. Recent observations of nitrous acid (HONO) in the remote troposphere show much higher concentrations than can be explained through known sources, with important implications for air quality ...

This is very bad news. For our NCAR colleagues of course, for climate scientists everywhere, and really, for everyone. I had the good fortune to spend two years at the Mesa Lab as an ASP postdoc, and it was one of the best scientific environments I have known.

Chemistry-Climate simulations and air quality forecasts are computationally expensive. In our latest publication we show that models using KPP can be much faster without any loss in accuracy. Check it out! gmd.copernicus.org/articles/18/...

Few cultural products make lasting impact. But Don’t Look Up was one of the few, as evidenced by how much conversation it still generates. Great retrospective on the film's release & why it's reassuring that it remains so loathed by those it ridiculed.

Since the first time I heard about carbon credits I was sure these are a Trojan horse for corruption and fraud with green washing. Even my colleagues (scientists) wash their conscience by buying CO2 offsets when they fly many times a year to conferences and project meetings.

At least billon💶€ climate fraud. When Germany tries to "reduce" emissions by buying #carbon certificates without proper in-situ auditory. Could be the same with #geoengeneering projects if allowed to trade the illusion of doing something for the #climate, just distraction for profit. 🧪🌎 17min📽️👇🏽
