OK State Dept. of Health told @kfor4.bsky.social last Thursday they had 18 cases so far in 2026. The count jumped to 56 confirmed & 6 hospitalizations. OSDH says "historically, we have had an avg of 44 cyclosporiasis cases annually. It's only been a reportable disease in Oklahoma since 2023."🧵

This is video from Fairview Emergency Management of the storm. NWS survey teams report four tornadoes. The deadly one in Major County was an EF2, localized along U.S. 60. Another EF1 storm reported in that county, and two others in Alfalfa and Grant County.
