The whole world jerks, and suddenly Daxter's in open air. His claws grab for the seat, but it's already gone, the fabric slipping from under his paws - the windshield looms right in front of his face -

A hand smacks square into his chest, flattening him to the back of the chair. The breath rushes from his lungs with a squeak.

“Shit - fuckin’ asshole, who the hell taught you to drive -?!” Torn's growl is barely audible over the ringing in Daxter's ears. “These fuckin’ kids think they're the most important fuckin’ people, I swear to Mar…” He continues to grumble under his breath, eyes on the road as he drives one-handed. His palm, warm and slightly rough, is making it hard for Daxter to catch his breath, and not just because of how hard it's holding him.
