"A man who listens to & respects his wife? What is this world coming to?!" I really cannot fathom their thought processes at all. They look at ANYTHING that's positive, then take the opposite stance. 🤷‍♂️

👍 I wish more artists could leave that place behind. I still have my accounts there because some artists I follow haven't or won't leave. Even if one ignores the politics completely, that new "Recreate with Grok" AI image generation feature is particularly terrible for artists!

Don't take the sentiments on the so-called "Canadian" forums on reddit at face value. They've been overrun with right-wing trolls for while. Hostile nations, political parties are taking advantage of the ideological pendulum swing to sow as much division as they possibly can before it swings back.

Photo of a Logitech Trackman mouse. These mice are characterized by a stationary base upon which the user rests their hand, and a track ball on the right side that users manipulate with only their thumb or finger tips (depending on the model) to control the pointer.

What more needs to be said?

"Would" meme featuring a Japanese parliament brawl. An elderly Japanese politician struggles to speak into a microphone as other parliamentarians are seen trying to protect the speaker, while others struggle to pull him away from the microphone.

The phrase "would" in this context is a humorous reference to the idea of someone stating they would engage in sexual activity with an absurd or inappropriate subject.

I archive the work of artists I like & Ashwinarts WAS among them. But he was copying others' work (AI images too) without consistent attribution. This mislead others (and me) to think his work was original. He sells the copied work too! 😞 Evidently he has some skill but he needs to be open & honest.

Style studies involve learning by recreating an artist's work, which is a valid artistic exercise. But without clear attribution & meaningful transformation, it's just plagiarism. Turning around & selling that derivative work is basically commercial bootlegging.

My dad let me watch Watership Down when I was too young for it. Thanks for the childhood trauma, dad! 👍 And thanks for Ralph Bakshi's "Wizards" too, and the well-intentioned but misinformed attempt to take me to 1981's "Heavy Metal". 😬 Yep, my dad *really* needed to read movie reviews first...

In the image: Vietnam War photo of a flight of UH-60 Huey helicopters come in for a landing while U.S. infantryman and a radio operator stand in the foreground with their backs to the viewer. Superimposed in the sky are the characters "Peace" from Ralph Bakshi's "Wizards" (1977) and a snarling and bloody General Woundwort from "Watership Down" (1978). In the lower left corner is Jerry the mouse with eyes half open, brows raised, mouth partially open from the "Polish Jerry/Khe Berga" meme used to express confusion, disgust or disbelief.

I've been seeing a lot of posts by people happy that they've finished reading a stack of books or people who've rediscovered the joys of reading. I'm embarrassed to admit that I'm not a well-read person. THIS is the last book I've read. For real. I'm not joking...

The book cover for "A is for ALIEN: An ABC Book" published by Penguin Random House as part of their "A Little Golden Book" series of children's books. This is a book for kids ironically based on the sci-fi horror film ALIEN (1979) directed by Ridley Scott.

ISBN-10: 073644484X
ISBN-13: 978-0736444842

The cover features a stylized version of Ellen Ripley holding Jones the cat. Ripley (with a smile on her face) and Jones are looking at a grinning Xenomorph alien creature emerging from a wall in the upper right corner of the frame.

The haters should try to make engaging content themselves. If you're a sole creator & can't pay for staff/services, you have to be the writer, director, producer, cinematographer, editor and performer all in one & you need to do all that well enough that ppl actually want to watch what you make.

I liked Transformers One. I'm disappointed that, with Hasbro stepping away from TV/film production, it's unlikely it'll be expanded upon; at least on screen. I understand Hasbro wanting to concentrate on its core business but nothing moves merch like a decent series or movie.

I can't help but think of this meme from a few years back when the topic of Ewoks come up. Granted the Ewoks could've come by that dress in a manner that didn't involve killing anyone; found in a wreck, salvaged from illegally dumped trash, traded etc. But my dark mind cannot help but go there...😨

A Star Wars meme image that shows an out-of-context image of Ernie and Bert from Sesame street. Earnie sits up in his bed saying, "In Return of the Jedi, how could the Ewoks have a dress that fit Leia... unless they cooked and ate a woman her size?"

Bert is in his bed, lying on his side facing the viewer, eyes open staring as if disturbed by the implication.

Very minor downside is that Elita's magenta finish is a bit dull compared her to screen appearance but not a big deal. I have plans to repaint. Smart call for Yolopark to go with partially built, no paint kits. They're accessible for TF fans who collect the toys but aren't kit builders.
