I archive the work of artists I like & Ashwinarts WAS among them. But he was copying others' work (AI images too) without consistent attribution. This mislead others (and me) to think his work was original. He sells the copied work too! 😞 Evidently he has some skill but he needs to be open & honest.

I've been seeing a lot of posts by people happy that they've finished reading a stack of books or people who've rediscovered the joys of reading. I'm embarrassed to admit that I'm not a well-read person. THIS is the last book I've read. For real. I'm not joking...

The book cover for "A is for ALIEN: An ABC Book" published by Penguin Random House as part of their "A Little Golden Book" series of children's books. This is a book for kids ironically based on the sci-fi horror film ALIEN (1979) directed by Ridley Scott.

ISBN-10: 073644484X
ISBN-13: 978-0736444842

The cover features a stylized version of Ellen Ripley holding Jones the cat. Ripley (with a smile on her face) and Jones are looking at a grinning Xenomorph alien creature emerging from a wall in the upper right corner of the frame.

So impressed with the Bsky mod team! Just reported a bot account for spamming & the account was suspended in minutes! No joke: One time I had a spam bot's profile open in another browser window. I reported it, 2-3 minutes later its profile page auto refreshed showing suspended. Outstanding!

Saw this pop up in my feed. I can understand not wanting to launch a civil suit against a juggernaut. Would've been nice if some lawyer took the case pro bono. Dishonesty, no accountability & Disney has restarted ad campaigns on Fuhrer Musk's X. So no principles too www.youtube.com/watch?v=ylKL...

I bought a higher quality sprue/flush cutter for plastic model kits and IMMEDIATELY misplace it. 🙄 Some days, it's a miracle I get anything done...

This is the reason I have two Bluesky accounts: one for serious topics, the other for porn--- I mean, special interests & other fun stuff like hobbies, gaming etc... I try to be careful to keep their use strictly segregated to prevent cross-contamination of their respective algorithms.

I wish I could go back in time & tell my young self this. My drive to get everything just right, to match what I envisaged but quit out of frustration was one of the biggest impediments to my personal & artistic development.

I have this propensity to choose macabre imagery for my social media profile photos and banners even though I'm not actually a big horror fan per se. Then I wonder why people aren't lining up to engage. 😆
