True, forgot about those as the thread went on. I was mostly thinking that unstructured shoulders on narrow shoulders should be fine, as long as you're wearing them to the right occasions. Whereas a broader shouldered person can pull off no padding in more formal settings.

Like I've considered the United club card so many times, but to get value from it I'd have to get to the airport earlier than I want to just for some cheap snacks and bottled beers. I'd rather get to the airport later and schedule non-stop or short layover flights.

Any specific card? The United cards have their place, but they're not worth keep long term if you're not flying a lot and regularly. If the sign up bonus is good and you can see yourself maxing the perks, sure. Otherwise a general card like the CSR or platinum are likely better.

Maybe this is reductive, but my theory is that it's informed by politics and the rhetoric around renewables and fossil fuels. The customers lean one way, the servicers the other, and the suppliers don't care as long as they're making the bucks.

Our dog goes crazy when she smells the cat has been there! Has to sniff at everything for ten minutes and then is out there alert and perky, waiting. Takes days for the smell (or interest) to fade, then she can relax in the yard again.

Owner motivated to sell? Buying in 2021 was pretty near a high point, and prices during this admin have been stymied by rate hikes. I'd guess he just wants out of CA and certainly he's not as price sensitive as the rest of us. Definitely some 'deals' to be had off of people who bought RE in 21/22.

Trying to figure out how they can say it's 'half the alcohol' here. Regular Bud is ~5%, Bud Light is a hair above 4% and came out a couple years before LA even. Implying there was a mainline beer at 8% to compare to seems disingenuous even by marketing standards.

IMO seven years is its own issue. Depending on climate/use your rubber can degrade noticeably. Not necessarily to the point of full dry rot, but the rubber being less pliant = worse turning and stopping performance. Mine have almost all their tread, but at 5 years they slip under mild acceleration
