Not to shit on React, or the dev who did his assigned job, but this is fucking insane, whoever decided to implement things this way for the core navigation/interface to a desktop must have been having a low neural activity day when they approved this 💀

#puzzle and #sudoku fans: If you aren't already using sudoku.coach & sudokudb.com Why not? 🤣 They are both fantastic resources and have reasonable apps available if you don't want to stick to your browser. (I'm not affiliated with either, just a fan of strong solid communities)

I apologize for the continued lack of 💥 #DoomShooting 💥 Apparently my 🧠 has decided to become obsessed with Mutually Orthogonal Latin Squares in the context of #logic game design, I promise it isn't a useless side-quest 💀 #mathematics #gamedev See (its deeper than you think): suirodoku.com/articles

Fellow #puzzle fiends: What do you think of #Kropki (I know some #sudoku variants use the symbol logic too) 🤔 These rules are a bit better fleshed out than what this webpage to play has: playpuzzles.co/kropki Here is an android version: play.google.com/store/apps/d... #logic #deduction #game

Cells separated by a white dot must contain digits whose values differ by exactly 1.

Cells separated by a black dot must contain digits where one cell is twice the value of the other.

All possible dots are shown. This means that if two adjacent cells have no dots between them, their values cannot differ by one and cannot be twice the value of each other.

Neighbouring cells containing the digits 1 and 2 can be separated by either a black or a white dot.

i hate difficulty discussions in games bc not only is it always super subjective and varies from person to person but there always seems to be this slant that harder games are good and easy games are automatically bad and it's like. idk dude i feel like if ur having fun it should be fine

Yet another wakeup call to support #FOSS and #indiedev folks, yes it's a little less convenient, yes it takes more research and effort on your part, yes it won't be as polished, but it also won't be a turd under all that polish either.

one kinda overlooked thing in discussions about video game difficulty is subjective reactions to the same challenge, like sometimes i find a puzzle game really easy and scoff when ppl say it was hard, but then i look closer and see we basically took the same amt of time to beat the game

Beefeater London Dry Bombay Dry Sipsmith London Dry Tarquin's Cornish Dry Four Pillars Lune To name a few, those all use almonds, and many other boutique brands will use them, cashews, hazelnuts, macadamias, pistacios, and pine nuts as well depending on the distillery.

I’m a little sad today. I found out a friend is in favour of banning certain library books. As a librarian, I was trained to oppose censorship. It’s in the American Library Association Code of Ethics: www.ala.org/tools/ethics We fight for your right to read.

#ttrpg This is absolutely why I love everything about the Mork Borg brand/community, yes this is real and available in the USA for a fair price. Original link: pittrapshop.com/products/liq...

Product page for “Liquid Misery Hot Sauce,” the official MÖRK BORG hot sauce by Chacho. A rectangular glass bottle filled with bright yellow-orange sauce sits against a smoky black background, with a black-and-yellow MÖRK BORG-style label featuring a horned skeletal figure. Below, the product is listed for preorder at an intentionally absurd price of $1,000,000,000,000 USD.

Black text highlighted in bright yellow explains the trillion-dollar price: the sauce is made in the US, so the Swedish seller does not want to ship it to Sweden and back or deal with FDA paperwork. They deliberately set an impossible price to prevent North American customers from ordering through them, ending with: “FOR USA, CANADA & MEXICO CUSTOMERS, BUY DIRECTLY FROM CHACHO.”

Reviewers who follow the same kinds metrics that a boardroom follow to determine if a game is good or bad should be boycotted. That kind of thinking is already damaging the lives of gamedevs enough, learn how to review a game on It's own merits or stop reviewing games. #gaming
