LOVE that! I've been thinking about getting a typewriter, though I mistype like crazy, every third strike is delete, lol.

I love writing paraphernalia! I oscillate between writing by hand with my Blackwing pencils, drafting on my Freewrite and (least favorite) writing on my laptop. What writing tools do you use?

Blackwing Pencils: Revived old fashioned pencils. The lead is extremely smooth and the eraser is adjustable (it's bigger than shown. When you run out pull out the little clip and adjust it so more of the eraser is sticking out) This is perfect for my kids who go through erasers faster than pencils.

Electronic Keyboard. Stainless steal body with green keys, cognac pleather case. Okay, maybe a bit of a splurge but it was a gift from my husband for graduating with my MFA so...

That’s a lot of worldbuilding in 300 characters. Love it!

Okay, I just read that when polled 74% of American parents admitted to stealing some of their children's Halloween candy. And I am shocked--SHOCKED!--the number is so low.

Currently obsessed with Selçuk Demirel's art. He has a unique way of seeing the world. One of those artists who lets you in to wander around his mind for a while and get lost. ✨

Reactor is invitation and I think agents submissions only. I wasn’t published in their magazine (though that would have been awesome!). They just reviewed a story I wrote in another magazine.

Had to look that one up, but YES!

I Love My Job: Bang Head On Desk Meme

Writing a pivotal chapter today. Or I should say rewriting... for the 6th time. 🤷‍♂️😆😭 Trying to find the best way to introduce a characters backstory sometimes involves a lot more than just plunking it on the page I guess. #WritingCommunity #AmWriting

Human brain is two separate organs, Stanford Medicine-led research finds

Weird news to wake up to: The brain is not one but TWO separate organs working together. It's crazy that we are still finding out stuff like this. But, it puts a whole new meaning to talking to yourself. 😄 med.stanford.edu/news/all-new...

Wow! Congrats, Myna. That's huge!

I think that Aileen Wuornos (the serial killer who hated abusive men) trending right now is hilarious. She was completely ahead of her time and we're all looking at her now going, "Huh, she had a point."

Congratulations! What an accomplishment!
