Look I work in public health and as a provider, I see what happens when people stop using fluoride. Also, I remember back in the 80’s and working in Santa Fe New Mexico how people ran to the dentist to have all their mercury removed.

The people that I run into that question me about fluoride are misinformed. Here’s an example. A patient asked me if fluoride was safe because she read some of the material in fluoride varnish is what is the same material in mouse killer. Look at the cost! www.hsdm.harvard.edu/news/2025/06...

It's unfortunate that poor data and flawed studies have contributed to the widespread misinformation about vaccines and autism. Well-conducted research indicates that autism is primarily genetic. Many people tend to believe in ideas they don't understand or take the time to investigate thoroughly.

Without having access to fluoridated water or varnish I can only imagine how bad the problem will become. In my state, 1-5 children ages 0-5 have untreated tooth decay. We need to fight for fluoride all the data is wrong, and the studies are small without merit.

I have to talk about fluoride. As a public health hygienist, most of my patients live in a food desert or choose high-carbohydrate diets because they fill the belly longer and cost less money. So their cavity risk is high. 1/1
