The hilarious thing is that, as a ghostwriter, I'm getting more book requests than ever. People now get AI to write their book and see it's crap, so they want a human to edit it. The less funny bit is they think trying to fix AI slop is easier than writing from scratch. And they want to pay less.

I have the Instant Pot and love it. We cook everything from oats porridge to rice to stews and soups in it. I use the pressure cook function more often, but the slow cooker is great too. I got rid of my slow cooker and my old-fashioned pressure cooker pot, so it saved me space...

What's amazing is that (some) men who do these tasks when single somehow forget they need doing once they're partnered up. My husband and I have recently started using the Fair Play card deck in our house and he's finally starting to understand the mental load component of something like laundry.

The speed of the internet (not necessarily the internet itself). My husband and I are rewatching an old series from 2004 and laughing at what "high-speed internet" meant in the age of dial-up. I do not miss that noise.

Meet Cheeky, one of the peacocks who roams our neighbourhood. He thinks he lives with us. If I don't close the front door, he comes inside. He routinely shits on my doormat (the size of the turd matches the size of the bird 😭). My cats aren't sure what to make of him, but my kid loves chasing him 😂

I lost my two old cats very suddenly, one after the other in the space of two months in 2021 (can't believe it's been five years already!). I couldn't function properly for weeks. You have my deep sympathy. Consider commissioning portraits in their honour? Don't know why, but that helped me 🤷‍♀️

I hear you. After my son had to have antibiotics to clear an ear infection a few weeks ago, he was on chewy probiotic tablets, which he discovered he quite liked. Now it's, "I'm sick, Mommy. I need the chewy medicine."

It was the first movie I've seen in cinema in 3 years and it was a great choice to come back to. And yes, loved hearing that track and have had that and Harry Styles' Sign of the Times on repeat in my brain ever since watching.
