My move is basically done...in the sense that all the stuff from my apartment is moved to my new house. And some of it is unpacked. I just have no internet there. And my dryer doesn't work. Good thing I'm stuck with this apartment for 4 more months so I have an "office"

I FOUND IT!...IT WAS HERE! It rolled behind the speakers when I moved my desk. Good job me. You're certifiably an idiot.

I did a derpy thing. -Left my computer at my old apartment because I still have some time on the lease, and the wifi won't be on in my new place until october -Left my tablet here at the apartment so I can draw -packed my tablet with the rest of my "desk stuff" and sent it to the new place. uh oh.

Update, I'm moved! Except my computer is still here in the old place because I don't get internet till next month. Somehow. Good job me. Good planning. But we came in under time and under budget so it's all good.

Spent a good chunk of the day packing up the rest of the stuff I can manage on my own, as in it can fit in my Honda. Tomorrow I finally do the big stuff with movers. There isn't going to be internet in my new place for a little while longer though so things will be a bit quiet a little longer.

My Gallbladder removal last year took 6 months from initial assessment to removal. 3 months of that was waiting for my surgery. I called the movers today (wednesday) and they said "We can move you on Sunday. When I got the floors done, it was also like 4 day turnaround. My Fridge took a week.

AMA/TMI . Ask whatever you like, Tuesday Also yes, I am still moving. Why? Because I am only moving across town, I refuse to ask for help, and I only have a Honda. Could I have rented a van? Sure, but a day with that would have cost more than the 2 tanks of gas it's cost me to move everything.

I have that thing where I rehearse how I'll handle conversations and situations in my head, except they're things that will never actually happen. This does nothing to prepare me for the situations that actually happen, like when the cashier implies I'm fat, and I just say "uh...sure" and leave.

No TMI today. No comment on Zelda or Nintendo stuff. Why am I even making a post then?... How are you? Did you cut your hair? You look good today. How's work/School? It's that time of year for it to either start getting colder or warmer, how do you feel about that? Been watching anything lately?

I don't know what hack salesman came up with that "you should call a person by their name because it makes them more likely to listen to what you have to say" thing. Calling me by my name is about the most off putting thing you can do in a conversation. Anyway I've been getting spam calls again.

Moving progress update: it took 4 trips but my 5x10 storage unit is finally empty and in my new place. I can stop paying these insufferable leeches who raised the rent 20 bucks every quarter. When I was enlisted I had a unit back home that never went up the entire time I was there!

After 6 long years in this apartment it's time to start packing up and moving...and time for me to realize how I have utterly failed, 1000%, to downsize and get rid of things in preparation for this. Oh boy is this going to be tedious. it's going to be worth it!...but it's going to be a lot of work.

The air is breathable again, the weather is nice, and the big thing I've been keeping quiet about appears to be happening so I don't have to worry about jinxing it: I'm moving out of this apartment I've been in for 6 years...into a house. Still have some time before it's settled. Soon though...
