This is GOP strategy. We saw it with Roe. They count on blue states to sit it out while red states enact extreme laws. Laws ultimately held up by the US Supreme Court. Nine states have trigger laws that will end healthcare for 3.1 million people. This is just the beginning. We have to fight!

All good! We’re here to share our thoughts and opinions. And it’s refreshing that we can do it respectfully.

I don’t agree. A lot of good has been accomplished by Democrats, especially during Biden‘s term. Many wins are bi-partisan. I’m not saying nothing gets done. It’s difficult, of course but there was a missed opportunity in 2020 to protect rights that we knew were under assault by the GOP.

I’d say any meeting that’s going to affect US government policy re: corporate regulation, taxes, import fees, etc. that includes the president-elect is a government meeting. You can call it official or not. Those meetings will impact “official” government policy. They weren’t swapping recipes.

The GOP has used financial and political pressure to control the media for years. While also using targeted propaganda to label all media as “liberal media”. This didn’t happen overnight. And it doesn’t take a dictatorship to control the press.
