well that's surprisingly simple for how much the software didn't work. alltough it does sure seem to send a lot of commands to which the treadmill just responds with error. i'll see if i can get this hooked into resonite tomorrow, probably

ok that took way longer than expected but the shitass software is now working. look at this glorious piece of software. now to actually figure out how these communicate

so the thing just crashes on the device settings screen if you run the 32bit version. i could send this to keppler but i have this sneaking suspicion that's not gonna do anything.

what do you mean check if a software update is available, i've just installed it. also the software looks like it hasn't gotten an update since at least 2009. (the software says this no matter which serial port i select, even when i don't have a kettler device connected at all. great stuff.)

so anyway i've decided to try to reverse engineer the usb interface on my treadmill to hook it up to resonite or some shit. figured the easiest way to do that would be to sniff whatever the manufacturers proprietary software is doing. unfortunately the thing […] [Original post on awawi.nexus]
