Writers, Ttrpg storytellers or just fellow fantasy nerds! It would mean the world to me if you checked out my new book preview 🥹. It's about a dwarven themed city inspired by depictions from Tolkien, WHF, with my own unique twists. #writer #dnd #ttrpg #fantasy #lotr

For more long term goals. My yearly goals to push for are: 💜 Finish Drole & start the next project and community project 💜 finish setting up my supporter pages, and post a weekly update for the majority of this year. 💜 Begin building a community & help one person create their dream story

Tales of Cinder @talesofcinder.bsky.social · 04/01/2025

My main goal this year is to continue to believe and push myself. I've been so fortunate and had help from so many and achieved things I never thought I could do. I want to keep that momentum

Hey everyone, I'm going to be a bit quieter on socials this week, life's a bit hectic right now and my mental health has dipped so I'm going to take a step back from socials just to focus on myself. I'm still working on Drole and if you have any questions or need to get in contact feel free. 💜

Writers and storytellers! What are some parts of worldbuilding that give you difficulty? For me, it's character reputations. No matter how much I study it, it is always something that I never feel happy with and often get concerned about working on.

Tales of Cinder @talesofcinder.bsky.social · 08/12/2024

Oh, these are awesome! Big welcome!! We're happy to have you here :)💜

This time of year can be difficult for many. Make sure you look after each other and especially yourselves. Additionally, when it comes to creating, remember to not overdo it, take breaks and love yourself as much as the art you create, you're just as/ more important than it. Stay Safe 💜

Whereas modern Drolians are still taught both tongues from birth to fluency, few stick to either as their main tongue and revert to the slang of Drolian mixed common. Ancestral dwarven is not forgotten however, its place now resides in sites of the utmost respect, from royal courts to homes.

100

Tales of Cinder @talesofcinder.bsky.social · 01/12/2024

Over centuries, constant interaction and exposure to humankind evolved the Drolian dialect from the parent dwarven tongue to Drolian mixed common. The language is not too dissimilar to human common, yet has a distinct dwarven flair, with several nouns and verbs exchanged for dwarven equivalents.2/3

100

Tales of Cinder @talesofcinder.bsky.social · 01/12/2024

With Drole finding its beginnings as a diplomatic outpost, Most Drolian ancestors who established their first homes in these mountains had to be fluent in two languages, Humanic common and the ancestral dwarven tongue. The bi-lingual tradition has since been carried down through the generations 1/3

Tales of Cinder @talesofcinder.bsky.social · 01/12/2024

Did you know? In my upcoming book, Drole: The Dwarven City of Rings, many citizens are, in fact, trilingual, speaking ancestral dwarvish, humanic, and most commonly a unique language which is a mix of the two!

A mountain stirs and suddenly shifts, its jagged cliffs throwing off their snow until you realise its fur. It's shaggy, matted and covers the proud chest of a bovine beast. Atop it are horns of bone, two caravans wide. The type of horns a king would display to remind his subjects of his superiority
