I'm currently writing a story for my assignment based on a wonderful piece of poetry. #writers and #artists, are there any poems that have inspired your creations? I'd love to hear them! 💜

Writers, Ttrpg storytellers or just fellow fantasy nerds! It would mean the world to me if you checked out my new book preview 🥹. It's about a dwarven themed city inspired by depictions from Tolkien, WHF, with my own unique twists. #writer #dnd #ttrpg #fantasy #lotr

Hey everyone, I'm going to be a bit quieter on socials this week, life's a bit hectic right now and my mental health has dipped so I'm going to take a step back from socials just to focus on myself. I'm still working on Drole and if you have any questions or need to get in contact feel free. 💜

Hi Wonderful people. I've decided to do a new thing! I'm starting a weekly writing blog which will give you behind the scenes and insights to my current progress and plans to the books I make. When it goes live it will be published on both my Ko-fi and patreons respectively (in my linktree). 💜

Writers and storytellers! What are some parts of worldbuilding that give you difficulty? For me, it's character reputations. No matter how much I study it, it is always something that I never feel happy with and often get concerned about working on.

000

Tales of Cinder @talesofcinder.bsky.social · 07/12/2024

This time of year can be difficult for many. Make sure you look after each other and especially yourselves. Additionally, when it comes to creating, remember to not overdo it, take breaks and love yourself as much as the art you create, you're just as/ more important than it. Stay Safe 💜

Tales of Cinder @talesofcinder.bsky.social · 03/12/2024

Since it's difficult for me rn to show as much as id like of my book, I'd love to do an Ask Me Anything where we can discuss it and raise ideas you'd like to be considered and included. I want to make the best books I can for you all! Let me know if that interests you! 💜

Did you know? In my upcoming book, Drole: The Dwarven City of Rings, many citizens are, in fact, trilingual, speaking ancestral dwarvish, humanic, and most commonly a unique language which is a mix of the two!

A mountain stirs and suddenly shifts, its jagged cliffs throwing off their snow until you realise its fur. It's shaggy, matted and covers the proud chest of a bovine beast. Atop it are horns of bone, two caravans wide. The type of horns a king would display to remind his subjects of his superiority

Writers and storytellers, what do you adore to ponder over when writing? Personally, when I dive into worldbuilding, I find myself always delving deep into characters' reputations within that world, and wondering how all the alleys of the world view them!

It's wild that I'm close to finishing my final draft of Drole. So so close I'm now doing some fun extra bits since I'm ahead of schedule. I'm making a mini wildlife encyclopedia for the kingdom and it's surroundings. If anyone wants a specific flower or animal for me to fantasise nows the time!

The writing community on Bluesky is so amazing already but my feed is very full of established authors! I want to make a Starterpack for emerging writers in hopes to see more diverse content! If you’re in the middle of a WIP, unpublished, or even just writing as a hobby, drop a comment! (1/2)

Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance. Remember those who have been killed, injured, abused, tortured for being who they are. Remember those who have taken their own lives because they could not live in a world where they could not be themselves. Remember them. And make the world remember them.

Light blue, pink, and white candles on a black background, arranged in the order of the Transgender Pride flag. Beneath, the text "TRANSGENDER DAY OF REMEMBRANCE NOVEMBER 20" is displayed.

Following your passion is hard, whether you're far in your path or not started at all that's okay. Life throws so many hurdles at us, the fact that you want to push yourself and want to reach for something that seems so scary is wonderful. We are all proud of you 💜

There is no feeling quite as elating as when your mind has become riddled with writer's block and then a flood of ideas miraculously flows through you. My head has been in a rut recently and it feels so good to be out of it. #writer

Unlike many, Dwarven history stubbornly stands time. It's memories ever archived. Drole is no different, The ringed city's history runs deep like roots of a walnut tree, it's knowledge base ever expanding. That's not to say all is remembered. There are some events even Dwarves long to forget.

Hey #writers let's make a story together! I shall start: A crumbling stone breaks off down towards the great river-filled ravine, as Drykkin almost loses her footing. Her steel-tipped leather boots creak and shake as she stabilises herself back onto the narrow path.
