I say this often. If we wish to rid ourselves of the vile wretchedness of "6-7", we must conquer it for ourselves. Never have I seen a teenager turn so quickly against a meme as when I myself begin to use it with just the slightest hint of mispronunciation, in the vein of "The Pokeymon".

On one hand, I know that feeding birds is bad for ecosystem sustainability reasons etc. On the other, I pray every day that God's face smiles lovingly on this one Greenlandic guy I've noticed near my home, with a sunflower lanyard and a bucket of birdballs, clearly trying to amass a corvid army.

One thing I've fought with in my own authorship has been how irregular my reading and writing has been in terms of genres. It's hard to find one's footing with no single solid foundation you're good at. But those foundations lead to regular tropes and similarities to "colleagues" within their genre.

Disdainable evil machine-device experience of the day: I've been having a small issue with being locked out of the files on my HDD from Linux Mint as of late. Disabling windows defender, on windows for VR reasons, fixed it. How any of you ITfurs can bear this nonsense is beyond understanding.

Upon further inspection (i.e.: Actually having met), Therians seem like an interesting lot of people. Aside from a few annoying fandom-ifications of the idea of psychosis, there seems to be an entirely interesting intellectual tradition behind them. I must prodpoke more at it at some point.

Yup. Can confirm that it's still used to this (literal) very day in the medical world when referring to degrees of function loss in the disability system. There's probably quite the argument to be had about "reclaiming" a term that still has enclaves of the pre-slur association alive.
