✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ @takeoff345.bsky.social · 29/12/2025the “first steps” photo upsets me #hi09 #shipwrecked64 #art 1144
✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ @takeoff345.bsky.social · 26/12/2025this is the funniest clip I’ve seen in like a solid 2 weeks 010
✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ @takeoff345.bsky.social · 12/12/2025#RainWorldDecember Day 11: Scavenger Apparently I made a mistake making the list, this one isn’t in the game lol. There’s these posts around the map that have the word “scavenger” in the file names, so I just drew that to make up for my mistake. Sorry!! #rainworld #rainworldart #art 0142
✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ @takeoff345.bsky.social · 11/12/2025#RainWorldDecember Day 10: Leviathan Note: scale of creatures in this series may be exaggerated for artistic purposes #rainworld #rainworldart #art 081
✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ @takeoff345.bsky.social · 10/12/2025#RainWorldDecember Day 9: Giant Jellyfish I’m so so so so so happy with how this one came out oh my god. I’m so happy #rainworld #rainworldart #art 0202
✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ @takeoff345.bsky.social · 09/12/2025#RainWorldDecember Day 8: Jetfish Tried to record a timelapse for this one but it screwed up. I don’t like it much (it would be better as just an area drawing) but oh well #rainworld #rainworldart #art 090
✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ @takeoff345.bsky.social · 08/12/2025#RainWorldDecember Day 7: Monster Kelp Had to rework my mindset a little going into this one. It worked very well. I like how it came out #rainworld #rainworldart #art 0140
✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ @takeoff345.bsky.social · 07/12/2025#RainWorldDecember Day 6: White Lizard I was really struggling to figure out how to compose this one. Nothing was coming to mind and it drove me nuts. I’m gonna revisit it when i get the chance. But today will just be a rest day for me i suppose 030

✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ @takeoff345.bsky.social · 06/12/2025#RainWorldDecember Day 5: Noodlefly Technically babies can’t be that purple color. I Don’t care Was very busy today so this ended up being super rushed #rainworld #rainworldart #art 0211
✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ @takeoff345.bsky.social · 05/12/2025To me, B looks intentional, A doesn’t. Readability is important though 000
✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ @takeoff345.bsky.social · 05/12/2025IM SO STUPID here’s the painting. im better at remembering on twitter and i check notifs there, so look there if i mess up again 030
✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ @takeoff345.bsky.social · 05/12/2025#RainWorldDecember Day 4: Vulture Buzzer beater, but worth it. I really like how this one turned out and I’m glad I got to use more colors for this one. #rainworld #rainworldart #art 0141
✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ @takeoff345.bsky.social · 04/12/2025#RainWorldDecember Day 3: Pole Plant Process streamed live on my Twitch! Follow me there to see me paint and stuff! I really like how this one turned out but moving forwards im reducing the canvas size a good bit… #rainworldart #art 120
✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ @takeoff345.bsky.social · 03/12/2025#RainWorldDecember Day 2: Batflies This one was really fun! The use of opacity is intentional but I feel like it doesn’t read the best, but that’s ok. I’m happy with it 020

✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ @takeoff345.bsky.social · 28/11/2025I'm doing this to explore a new style, push my boundaries and abilities, and just generally experiment. We'll see how it turns out! <3 010
✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ @takeoff345.bsky.social · 28/11/2025HOW YOU CAN PARTICIPATE: Do whatever you want! Paint the creature, or draw, or anything creative related to the prompt at hand! Even if it's pretty tangential. Tag your work with #RainWorldDecember, and feel free to tag me! 110
✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ @takeoff345.bsky.social · 28/11/2025WHAT I'M GONNA DO: Either livestream, or timelapse a full painting every day (though I'm allowed to get ahead on sketches!) to get a grasp on this skill. I'm aiming to hit that fun geometric icon-ish style for each one. It'll be a challenge! I'll be doing my best. 100
✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ @takeoff345.bsky.social · 28/11/2025RAIN WORLD PAINTING CHALLENGE For the entire month of December, I'll be painting a portrait of a Rain World creature EVERY DAY. More info in thread! #RainWorldDecember #rainworld #rainworldart 131

✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ @takeoff345.bsky.social · 02/02/2025Idk it was weird and I feel like I did something wrong so I’m taking a break 000
✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ @takeoff345.bsky.social · 02/02/2025When I was drawing the second face I was BOTH considering each part of the face and their relationships as body parts AND considering just the line and space between Apparently according to the book people would only do one or the other??? That doesn’t make sense to me 100
✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ @takeoff345.bsky.social · 02/02/2025like it was going “oh you had to stop thinking like [how I was thinking] and switch over to [also how I was thinking” what???? Are people limited to one??????? The exercise was a specific thing with drawing that vase / two faces illusion 100
✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ @takeoff345.bsky.social · 02/02/2025concerned about the drawing book. the first real exercise was supposed to be about symmetry, and something about your brains visual mode? but I dont think I had the struggle it was expecting me to. like its not perfectly symmetrical but I didnt have this weird moment of paralysis it was talking abt 100
✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ @takeoff345.bsky.social · 02/02/2025In the end I’m super excited to continue along with this book and I’ll probably be showing more drawings as I do them 000
✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ @takeoff345.bsky.social · 02/02/2025Number 3: My Hand I LOVE drawing hands so this was my favorite. If I was any decent at pencil shading I would have done ham. I didn’t take a photo - just live reference - so it’s not super accurate but I think it came out really well. 100
✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ @takeoff345.bsky.social · 02/02/2025Number 2: Self Portrait Focused more on shading and stuff with this one because i had direct reference in front of me. Also because without it I’d look very stupid. Not that I don’t still - I tried so hard to draw myself decently but it’s hard to make ugly anything but 100
✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ @takeoff345.bsky.social · 02/02/2025Number 1: Person from Memory This is a coworker. I have pretty awful face blindness so i had a hard time remembering his face, and ended up messing some things up (that’s why his head is so squashed) 100
✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ @takeoff345.bsky.social · 02/02/2025following along with Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain by Betty Edwards here’s my first pre-instruction drawings, and my thoughts on them! 🧵🧵🧵 #drawing #art 130
✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ @takeoff345.bsky.social · 01/02/2025Maybe it means I’m a shell of a body only pretending to be a real person, maybe it means I need to watch more stuff 110
✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ @takeoff345.bsky.social · 01/02/2025yknow i realize i can’t think of a single character i relate to. like not one. There’s characters i like and cherish and love dearly but I don’t think I’ve ever found a character and been like “wow that’s so me” 120
✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ @takeoff345.bsky.social · 13/11/2024oh my god you can’t put this in my brain this is incredible 010
✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ @takeoff345.bsky.social · 11/11/2024I’m so sorry but thumbtacks on a whiteboard will not go how you expect 000
