It’s October 1st

David Lynch. Next to him is a graphic with a Halloween jack-o-lantern and the text, “Devil’s Night.”

the absence of labrinth's music in euphoria really makes the whole final season feel like a parody of itself (derogatory).

tacking onto this the sanctimonious bullshit of "wholesome/drama-free" accounts who, in fact, are always the drama. especially those who say "here for fun, not politics :)" nice that you have the privilege to curated your space and yet still bully people out of shared spaces. :) very wholesome :)))

no matter how mid some of these entries might be (except bad bunny, that was such a good surprise), compared to billboard's top 100 at least triple j's hottest 100 will only play music released in 2025.

2025 is a garbage fire but fuck me if it hasn't been an absolute consistent banger year for new music across all genres. NIN, The Hives, Pulp, Rebecca Black, Kesha, ATEEZ, Eisbrecher, MARINA, Ashnikko, Tyler, the Creator...even The Weeknd's album has made it onto my rotation.

my cat eats like he's trying to scam compensation out of the pet food company because he always insists on being pet to the point of purring before he eats and that seems like a bit of a choking hazard.

"My Best Friend's Son" (1 hour photo study in Clip Studio Paint)

A rough digital painting of Lionel, a large, fluffy, white Turkish Van cat, viewed from behind. He's sitting on an end table and staring out the window of my best friend's apartment into a bright white sky, making his fur look slightly luminous.

given the state of the beauty community nowadays, i am glad i stopped ~making content~ when i did because it's obvious a huge percentage of people (consumers and creators alike) just don't give a fuck about any of the actual science or formulations of products.

it's not "old man yaoi" if one of them is under 45. just like your "rarepair" isn't rare just because there's less than 1000 fics on AO3 (especially when it's demonstrably the main pairing for both characters). there's the rest of the internet you can find content for your "rarepair".

If there's anything I hope young creatives take from David Lynch, it's to reject the modern IP-driven impulse to explicitly explain and cleanly categorize the logic behind every single event and decision inside and outside of a story at least some of the time.

don't know why people on tumblr can't just block, move on and stay in their lane. the fact that people still lurk people they've blocked? absolutely loser pathetic behaviour. dropping the name is gauche, but if you see someone talking about toxic behaviour with 0 receipts, then you found her 💕
