Rare upload of my drawing Haven't done one in a while, and I don't know how often I'll post other drawings in the future... Would people be interested in that? #art

Thank you! From a technical standpoint, I'm sure there's still so much I have to learn about photography. But that's part of what makes that journey so fascinating, isn't it? Learning something new with every shot! PS: Absolutely admire your works, and love how much of a voice each of them has.

A few examples of using a longer lens to simplify a scene. Compression and bokeh help separate subject from background, turning clutter into texture. It’s often less about blur and more about giving the eye somewhere clear to land.

Single stalk of grass standing tall with soft sunlight and blurred green background creating a dreamy effect.

Close-up of a green fern leaf with sunlight highlighting its delicate, symmetrical fronds against a dark blurred background.

Close-up of a fragile plant bathed in light, standing out against a pitch-black backdrop.

Nowhere - In;Out (of) Place #UrbanPhotography #Photography

A stairwell seen from a slight angle to the side, framed by dark walls. The lighting is cold cyan, mostly dimly lit aside from the glistening lights reflected by the metal handrail.
On the middle of the stairwell sits a yellow caution sign, facing sideways.

A tiny paper crane; small, fragile, not as grand as what a bigger paper crane could ever be. And yet, the amount of care and attention to fold it was far beyond what the other two took to make. #Photography

Three paper cranes on a desk. Two bigger ones slightly closer to the back, while a tiny one is in focus near the bottom left of the frame.

Been a year since I started using bsky. Talked to cool people, learn quite a bit. Will keep trying the "social" part, slowly... I still do photography, still lots to learn. I took this picture recently, I suppose I'll pin this now instead??? Is that how this works? #Photography #UrbanPhotography

Silhouette of someone, standing behind a window in what appears to be a hallway in a station. The window have water droplets fogging up near the top and the side, catching the harsh reflection of the cold lights and framing the silhouette that is standing just slightly off center on the image. The left and right side appears darker, forming a natural vignette around the picture. The overall atmosphere of the station looks dark and dimly lit.
The picture is predominantly filled with shadows and cold blue light with slight hint of warmer greenish tint.

I did not prepare anything for my 1 year anniversary here on bsky... I present to you: cat. #CatOfBluesky This cat isn't exactly the brightest, but it's having fun. Be like cat.

Clearing fog at sunrise on Massabesic Lake in Auburn, NH. I’d been eagerly watching the forecasts to find a time to get these kinds of conditions. Aside from getting buzzed by a cormorant that flew out of the fog right in front of me, it was exactly as I had hoped #NewHampshire #nature #photography

Small pine-covered island emerging from dense morning fog on a calm lake; warm golden sunrise glows through the mist above, with faint ripples dimly visible in the foreground water. The image is of Loon Island on Massabesic Lake in New Hampshire.

That's so fascinating to see; the water droplet makes it look almost otherworldly!
