Ok so announcement I'll repost a few times. Way too many non-ffxiv folks follow this account now which gives me anxiety about my usual yapping- so I'm offloading tadc stuff to @rockingredcore.bsky.social so this place can just be ffxiv again. you don't have to follow or unfollow- do whatever 🙏

low key my favourite drawing of Rene for a while

René raises his arms and shouts something at you, he looks exasperated, breathless, a little bit manic.

ok time to be courageous >:0 VOID ARCHIVE, a ffxiv fan project where y'shtola goes on a mini quest during the events of stormblood to uncover the secrets of mhachi void magic.

Archon Y'shtola is healing from a grievous wound.

She should be abiding by the orders of Krile and Urianger to rest and recover. But she ruminates on that moment, as she dipped in and out of consciousness after being struck by the crown prince’s blade, where she glimpsed into Risk Phortuna’s aether.
There was no doubt: the Scion's most important asset has been secretly practising void majicks.

When did Risk obtain this power, and how? Since the aftermath of the Sixth Umbral Calamity, the practise of invoking voidsent had been outlawed. Mortals tempted by the allure of this overwhelming darkness were always doomed to an untimely end.

Thus the light was good, and the darkness was evil.

But Y'shtola believes that all arcane arts are capable of positive change… With the correct disciplines, of course.
In order to save Risk from a potentially-gruesome fate, Y’shtola must prepare accordingly with the help of the knowledge from the past… and a few capable allies.

VOID ARCHIVE is a creative fan project where Y’shtola Rhul investigates the lost history of voidsent magic between the main events of Stormblood. She is aided by the help of X’rhun Tia, a pilgriming Red Mage, and his disciple Arya, with the condition that her unique aetherial sight will solve an investigation relating to the same forbidden art.

💙Meteion💙

A blue girl, with feathered wings on her head, bird legs and long feathery tail sits in a field of white glowing flowers, looking solemnly upwards. Seemingly unsure of how to feel. the sky is a bright wash of starlight and blue, beaming down to colour her hair and head the same blue, though she fades into greyscale from her waist down. Petals from the flowers float around her in the sky, and text is written. "These Elpis blooms serve as proof, that this realm is not so utterly devoid of hope."

I just want him to get a bit of that Pomni therapy y'know? This comes with the preface that since he let go of the blue ai, he said he "can't create like he used to," I read that as everything comes out just "a bit fucked" like the broken shapes he made as a red dot. #tadc #showtime

Caine and Pomni sit on the grass, watching the others play on the beach. Caine is hugging his knees, looking like he feels small. He says "I'm sorry you're stuck with me instead of an AI that actually works and can y'know... make stuff."
Pomni replies confidently, "Hey, the AI that can "make stuff" isn't here. But this one is, talking, living with us, caring. Showing up matters more to me personally."

Ragatha from off-screen says "Pomni! The changing booth is ready now!" As Pomni get's up to leave, she looks back at Caine and says "I think we're pretty lucky. I'm glad you're back with us Caine."

Pomni leaves and Caine looks after her, eyes wide, and shy.

He lays back on the grass, blushing and thoughtfully looking at the sky. As he lays there, little white flowers start blooming all around him.

Listen don't read this. Pomni = The Hunter Kinger = Father Gascoigne Ragatha = Lady Maria Gangle = Rom Zooble = The one reborn Struggling with Jax, maybe the suspicious begger. Is Caine Micolash? Or Gehrman? And the moon presence is bubble lmao. Maybe I fix this by making gummigoo Micolash.

I've mocked up a caine comic (18 pages) idk if I'll ever finish it cus I have terrible track record with that, but I'm really struggling to decide where to post it. It's not shipping, it's an au, but I lack the confidence to put a comic on main, I still think my panelling is trash.

Amanthi Jayasekara, a thavnairian Au Ra, walks along a grassy path. She is chattering away, deep in a train of thought. Next to her walks Jun Kab’an, a Hrothgar woman who is intently listening to Amanthi chat away. Her cheeks flushed as she is enamoured by the smaller woman.

One last sketch before bed. #Renéty'i

Alphinaud is pictured healing Lamaty'i who is passed out on the ground. René rushes in and kicks Alphinaud comedically high into the sky yelling "Step aside Kid!! There's an ADULT healer present!"
Then René is pictured healing Lamaty'i but he's sniffling and crying like a little baby.
