The rescue def had a good group of cats there that were all doing their best to charm through the glass, so it seems they are pretty solid. Orange had her charm dialed up to 11 with the family I saw looking at her, so it's awesome to see it worked!

These earrings and a star bracelet arrived today! I was worried at how it would feel to pull the chain threw my piercings, but it had no issues, and the magnetic clasp for the (cat approved) bracelet makes putting it on/off super easy while still being strong! Thanks @peculiarityshop.bsky.social

Oh wow, this reminded me of a LOTR fanfic during that era which must have been reacting to that - "official fan fiction academy" or something similar where LOTR fanfic authors were basically isekai'd into the world for a bootcamp to learn canon from the characters. (yes, mary sues happened anyways)

I learned tonight during a retirement speech, that of all things, my dad has used a quote from Starlight Express as a way to approach life. He even choked up while quoting the song. He would have seen the show 40 years ago in London, and "I Am the Starlight" struck that much of a chord.

Musée des Arts Forains is super neat: a collection of antique carnival arts with working games, carousels, and more. It was a private collection opened for tours to fund restoration of the pieces. My fav part was riding the Velocipede! arts-forains.com/en/visitors
