I think they are the peak of Ratchet and Clank game design. They have more the interesting and challenging AI behaviors. There can be infighting among the soldiers, their units are all enforcers. They look like action figures. A shame they don't have any of them.

When I make characters, I think about the "Who is the Agorian Warrior" short. Like genuinely, how are the Thugs used more often than the Agorians? They are arguably the most interesting faction of the series and if it was up to me, I would have made them the Main antagonist of a game by now.

Revelations stuck me in some parts, but for the most parts Dark Ages didn't. ORCS MUST DIE! 3's pawns most don't really have unique abilities. Trolls Heal, Ogres Stun you, Some enemies are faster But if you know how to push enemies, where you want them, the feel the same for the most part.

Cause Dark Ages and Revelations are more about "Now there is a bigger guy" While Eternal was little more about the synergies between demons and the level design. I think most arenas in Dark Ages and even Revelations are just too openly designed. Its more about learning whats coming next.

But what about Dark Ages? Dark Ages' AI is great, but once you know how to telegraph and parry enemies, thats about as deep as it goes. I don't think its as much of a thinking game as Eternal.

If you just have a "Move to" its not going to do this. I'm just so happy I've found a game another game to play this year that encourages learning how each enemy type fights and acts. I feel like I haven't had that since DOOM Eternal.

But I think since I understand Unreal Engine's EQS its become a lot easier to abuse the AI to take an extended trips down paths you pick.

It finds the shortest path, BUT it doesn't know whats waiting for it on the way. So you can block roads at the very end and they won't know until hit the wall. I'll do a stream this week explaining what I'm talking about. Cause its actually something I think the average player wouldn't think of.

Ok, I know for a fact the game is getting harder. Resource Management is getting tighter, enemies are evolving faster and yet, I think I am playing pretty easy because I understand how the AI works. GENIUS GAME
