a reminder that I’m extremely closed minded when it comes to using software outside of my comfort zone Ive been using Procreate as my main drawing program since 2015, I think. Thats enough time to get pretty good at a tool, but the second an update you don’t like releases, it kills all your passion

Like making a Thanksgiving promo sucks for multiple reasons. Then again, Black Friday is just enough. Valentine's Day is a nice one. But Its hard making 3D assets look romantic other than the usual Valentine's Day cards I make.

This is a sign to tell you that you aren't compositing enough. If it feels like something is missing, open the Blender Compositing tab. There are effects in Davinci that don't really get the visuals I want, so sometimes, I'll pass footage through blender to manipulate it.

In conclusion, I really think if we just got a Knack 3, just 1 more game, the series could have hit its stride. Because I really think Knack 2 was a major improvement. It just needs something more.

Did we need an upgrade tree? Absolutely not. Both games have this weird thing of blocking stuff under WAY too many layers of exploration. Gadget And Relic styles are way too scarce. You'll be lucky to have 1 complete gadget on your first playthrough and in 2, the skill tree just doesn't offer much

And it still does look impressive for a launch PS4 title. Of the games released day 1, other than COD and Killzone it probably has the best PBR Values. And I think Knack 2 improves a lot on what Knack 1 was Expanded Combat, A PROPER CO-OP with even more abilities added to your skillset

I honestly think it was mistake making the game Rated E Like idk, tone it up, maybe make the Goblins tougher instead of looking like Shreks. Stop focusing on the Narrative, like Narrative isn't going to get people attached to Knack ESPECIALLY when EVERYBODY KILLS HIM IN EVERY CUTSCENE

Its cool having this Lego Crash Bandicoot/Tasmanian Devil thing but I think Knack would have been better as somekind of Hack and Slash. Like honestly, here is a very specific pull, but he could have been like the Dark Daxter parts of The Lost Frontier
