🎨 Themes actually apply everywhere now: banners, corners, row states in the grid, the ER diagram. Every built-in theme also passes WCAG AA contrast ✅ and CI checks it on every PR so it stays that way.

⌨️ Ctrl/Cmd+K does things now, not just jump to tables. Run the query, copy a column as an IN (...) list, copy all rows, switch to another saved connection. Shortcuts can be remapped, and it tells you when two of them collide.

A proxy for the traffic you choose. Settings → Network: HTTP CONNECT or SOCKS5, then pick what goes through it: • App requests • Database connections • AI / LLM endpoints • SSH tunnels Off by default, each scope opt-in. Passwords stay in the OS keychain.

Which query is still running? The tab icon turns into a spinner in the connection's accent colour while a query executes, and it stays visible when you're working on another tab. Notebooks join in: one running cell keeps it lit until everything finishes.

Tabularis v0.24.0 is out 🧵 Headline feature: query plans inside the notebook. SQL cells get a Query Plan toggle, and a resizable Visual EXPLAIN section appears next to Query, Results and Chart. Saved with the cell, survives export/import.

The built-in PostgreSQL driver is deprecated. A migration flow moves your connections to the PostgreSQL plugin, one by one or in bulk, tests them, and always offers Undo. Nothing moves unless you click. Underneath, Visual EXPLAIN gained a parser registry plugins fill at runtime.

The SQL editor opens .sql files from disk. The file becomes a tab bound to its path, nothing runs on open, Ctrl/Cmd+S saves it back. Settings → Storage moves the whole data folder. Point it at iCloud Drive or Dropbox and a second machine picks up the same connections.

Rows per page, per tab: the pagination bar gets a selector that overrides the global page size for that tab only. Presets 50–5000, custom, or All. PostgreSQL mTLS: client certificate and key are finally presented on the TLS handshake, so Cloud SQL with mTLS works. Thanks adisusilayasa!

Cancellable plugin installs. The Install button turns into Cancel while a plugin downloads. Cancelling aborts the request and the extraction and removes staged files. Updates keep the current version active until the replacement is verified, so cancelling leaves you with what you had.

No more staring at Base64 blobs wondering what's inside 🔍 Small BLOBs now show up as readable hex right in the grid, and you can edit them in a proper hex editor. Oh, and MySQL rows with BINARY primary keys? Finally deletable. 3/4

The data grid finally selects the way you expect. Cmd/Ctrl+A for every loaded row. Shift+click for a cell range. Cmd/Ctrl+click headers for columns. Arrow keys, Home/End, PageUp/Down to move. And Copy All means all: it re-runs the query with no LIMIT.

Autocomplete is now clause-aware: tables after FROM, columns after WHERE, nothing inside strings or comments. 29 contexts, subqueries and CTEs handled. And 'x:y' inside a string literal no longer triggers the query-parameter modal.

Editing an ENUM cell used to mean remembering the allowed values and typing one exactly. Now it's a dropdown, on MySQL and PostgreSQL, in the grid and the row sidebar. Postgres also stops failing with "column is of type X but expression is of type text".

Select twenty connections, act on all twenty: move to group, delete, or export just the selection. And exports no longer leak passwords. The default mode encrypts with AES-256-GCM under an Argon2id-derived key. Plaintext is now the option with the warning, not the default.

Find things by typo. Fuzzy matching (Fuse.js) in the Quick Navigator and the table/trigger filters, so "ordrs" still finds "orders". Plus a rebindable shortcut (⌘⇧F) to jump to the filter box.
