I’d vote for you on that platform.

I love the word “autumnal” - it’s lovely.

I’m back from Dragon Fall and it’s time to stream - I got stuff to paint. I’ll start in about 10 minutes at twitch.tv/tabletopminions so if you’re interested, come on by!

I’ve got a slightly shorter stream today - only two hours instead of three because I have to get ready to go to Dragon Fall today and I’ve had a cold all week. Come listen to MOAR excuses in 10 minutes at www.twitch.tv/tabletopminions and it’ll be a quick one. Sorta.

I’ve done a few - they usually get terrible views. 😀 KitbashChaos is a pretty good channel that I watch sometimes and there’s some others that pop into my feed from time to time.

031

Tabletop Minions @tabletopminions.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

I guess I’ve never seen “disgust” for older models - but then again, I don’t watch that many warhammer influencers if I’m honest. Lately I watch a lot of kitbashers, tho.

130

Tabletop Minions @tabletopminions.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Absolutely! But that’s considerably harder to create than a chatbot that mishandles your credit card.

070

Tabletop Minions @tabletopminions.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Absolutely. And is Delta gonna give me a refund because my AI agent messed up? I’ll bet not.

120

Tabletop Minions @tabletopminions.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

I don’t consider myself an”warhammer influencer” but I will admit that I generally don’t like oldhammer sculpts. I have an old metal Death Guard model holding a plasma gun that’s modeled to look like it’s wood - I’m fond of the silliness - but otherwise I just don’t enjoy the old-timey sculpts.

130

Tabletop Minions @tabletopminions.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Wait - you have to PAY to go to Warhammer World? I never knew. Guess I should’ve known, tho.

140

Tabletop Minions @tabletopminions.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

I’m nit going to let a hallucinating glorified chatbot have access to my finances AND use those finances to book me terrible seats for a trip. How much time does this really save?

Tabletop Minions @tabletopminions.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Why do AI tech bros always list “book travel for you” as a thing we need AI to do for us? I don’t travel that much, but probably a little more than some. I don’t trust an AI to book my flights and such. I used a human travel agent ONCE and it was a total mess. So I should let AI do it?

I dunno - maybe? I look forward to seeing the Necromunda RPG, but if it’s a traditional RPG, then it won’t be for me. I want the models tho.

110

Tabletop Minions @tabletopminions.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

That’s why I push mostly skirmish games on my channel. Also, it’s why I play mostly skirmish games as well.

110

Tabletop Minions @tabletopminions.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

That’s why people who want to have fun, narrative games should use their Warhammer stuff with OPR rulesets - and probably ignore the online spaces that tell them that tourney play is the only way to play.

030

Tabletop Minions @tabletopminions.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

If casuals play the “tournament” version then they seem to be causing their own problems, I guess. 😀

130

Tabletop Minions @tabletopminions.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

I’ve always said that GW should make two versions of 40k rules: a tournament version and a version that’s fun. However, at least for me, this problem is already solved: I use my Warhammer dollies in One Page Rules and the problem is solved.

Tabletop Minions @tabletopminions.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

And: that new way they count views? That’s just pants-on-head stupid. 🙄

040

Tabletop Minions @tabletopminions.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

That said - I think it’s important to do what you like and don’t chase big numbers. I’ve been doing this near 14 years and some of my favorite videos I’ve made have gotten the worst views.

2130

Tabletop Minions @tabletopminions.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

I’m certainly not a YouTube apologist, but I honestly don’t know if it’s YouTube that doesn’t like the uncommon minis, or if it’s just the audience. Popular stuff does better, but I think that’s the viewers instead of the system. The system just reacts to more people clicking on Space Marines.

Gonna be starting the Palanite Enforcers from Necromunda tonight on stream - we’ll see how it goes. Starting in about 10 minutes at www.twitch.tv/tabletopminions so come by and watch me paint hive cops.

Well, I’m not smart. Also, plenty of folks in the comments either say they’ve been in the same situation AND others saying they’ll try it out now, too. So - while it might seem obvious - if it helps SOMEONE then that’s good enough for me. 😺

I’m a bit late and mad at the Internet this morning - but I’ll still stream. Starting in about 10 minutes at www.twitch.tv/tabletopminions so come by and find out what’s wrong now.

I recycle them or at least use them as paint palettes for drybrushing sometimes. I love how Trench Crusade makes them digital so that I don’t have to figure out what to do with them after I’ve built the thing.

I love being called a “tourist” - especially by folks who have been watching 40k lore videos for 18 months when I’ve been playing and painting for more than 20 years and making videos for more than 13 years. But *I’m* the tourist, yes.
