There are two ridings in Alberta that aren't safely conservative in federal elections and I live in one of them, so I've generally been a strategic voter (Liberal or NDP) out of necessity. Carney's right-wing lunge has ended that. I don't vote Conservative because I don't want conservatives.

I abhor the Catholic Church for all its crimes, its historic role in the permission structure for colonialism, and its work to try and strip me of my rights, but I will give the modern church credit for not just being "pro-life" until birth.

Susan Dell drew so much attention in that video from the Oval Office I think she was deliberately placed to draw attention to the weird little troll who was standing beside Scott Bessent.

A weird little man in an ill-fitting dark blue suit and red & white tie, with a face that looks like it's melting but that's okay because his eyebrows are already long gone. His right hand is hidden behind a model of a jet but his left hand is just hanging with his fingers oddly splayed.
