The last three days in Kyiv, and especially today, seem to have been much quieter. Even after Merz had already left the city. Could Ukraine’s defense forces really have adapted to the situation so quickly and sharply reduced the number of enemy jet-powered drones making it through to the capital?

Collapses are spontaneous as they are a cascade. They are as close to binary, a complex system can get. Russia hasn't collapsed and won't until it suddenly has collapsed. I can't predict when the Russian collapse will happen but I can tell you ropes are missing, frayed and are under full strain.

I've previously explained that a missile that cost £1m to produce in Europe, that is less capable than a 10k Ukraine drone is worth 7k. Britain 🇬🇧 and France 🇫🇷 sharing Storm Shaddow/SCALP missile tech with Ukraine 🇺🇦 while it's still worth something is just smart. NATO must own the factories.

Putin is nationalising the Russian warehouses that have 'failed to protect themselves from air attacks'. Some people are saying it's a cash grab but it's the exact opposite. It's a credit line. These companies are ruined and probably filed for bankruptcy, but Putin needs their China buyer network.
