Hot take. I hate discs. Always have always will. F the disc drive, I'm glad it's going away. Also, wtf? Digital ownership is 100% possible. Just let people download a DRM free copy! Many companies already do it. You can still fingerprint it so you know what account is sharing stuff they shouldn't.

I tend to call it hardware based simulation. Sometimes hardware accelerated emulation. But I kinda hate those terms. Virtualization feels better to me than those, but it's far less accurate a term so I don't really tend to use it either unless I'm talking to someone who already is familiar with it.

100% agree with you on this. FPGA is technically emulation, but it's also very different from normal emulation. Virtualization might be a better term, but it's still quite far from what's actually happening. Overall though, the terminology isn't really important as long as it's still fun.

Duct tape mod was a must. Also why later versions just included one by default. Also IMHO limited battery life for flashlights are dumb. These things last HOURS, not seconds like in the game. Also they take like 20sec to swap out. Games with a flashlight recharge timer make even LESS sense to me.
