Still progressing toward the second boss, but I killed a couple bears and maide a trol cape and some bear stuff. Next, we need bronze for a karve boatt and will be sailing southwest to get to The Elder. I'll play more after work tmr.

I totally get that. I have a lot of pause screens under my belt, but I start new projects just to learn more about certain aspects of Godot, and I have only messed with the UI stuff a tiny bit. I set up sliders and screen docking and things like that. I should make a system for making my UIs faster.

Good enough for a prototype. For polish, I would design the menu in the scene editor for a more dynamic and visually pleasing UI. There aren't a lot of menu-related addons yet but there are some good templates.

The Godot fracture/slice system is going well. I got a bunch of demo scenes set up for it already, just trying to figure out all the common use cases and build the most basic implementations.

I personally like having GPS. Back in the 90s, it costed too much money, so my Dad had me navigate via physical maps and road signs. It sucked. I don't miss that. GPS all the way, man.
