Not just that but Tolkien also said, “Evil cannot create anything new, it can only corrupt and ruin what good forces have invented or made.” Sound familiar? 🙄

Techbros seem to love Tolkien, so here's an analogy to help you understand what genAI is. GenAI is The One Ring. You think your use is justified, b/c you don't have evil in your heart. But it came from evil, it is intended for evil purpose, & anything you do with it will be twisted to that end.

Boromir from THE LORD OF THE RINGS, holding The One Ring. He thought he could use it for good, but everything done with the ring turns to evil. He was one of the mightiest warriors of middle earth, and he could not resist its powers. Others even mightier fell to the ring. Do you think you are stronger than them? The One Ring is generative AI.

That’s Dunban over there! #xenoblade #xenobladechronicles #xc1

A digital painting of Dunban from Xenoblade Chronicles, painted with no background. He grasps the edge of his cape with his good arm, shielding the other from view, and looks down with a melancholic smile. A landscape of Sword Valley is visible in his cloak and at the bottom of Dunban’s silhouette.

I'm so thankful for @tuyoki.bsky.social . She draws so much amazing arts all the time for my game. She draws almost everything. Even boring stuff like chairs. I don't want to draw a chair.

Everyone who tried to draw around me and started drawing LOVED it at the beginning because of their QUICK IMPROVEMENT. Then quit when they hit The Wall™️. But it's when you hit The Wall™️ that you NEED to push through with practice!! And you gotta do it for yourself, because it's ALWAYS worth it! 😤

Also guys, the image edit feature does work on glazed images. Glaze only works on image training. You can post your art as a gif to avoid this feature but its unclear how long that will last.

Some detail/process bits for this. Worked harder on this in a shorter time span than any other piece I’ve ever done. You can grab a copy here if you’re so inclined. rjpalmerstore.com/search?q=Link

Design sketches for all of the items I did. Spent a shit load of time redesigning all of them.

Painting of Link with a million little gadgets and weapons from across the games. I worked harder on this in a 5 week period than any other thing I’ve ever painted. I think I almost died working on this lol

Legacy 🌄 Happy 40th Anniversary to my favorite video game series of all time! Here’s to many more years of adventure!! #Zelda40th

A digital painting of Link from Ocarina of Time. He stands holding the Triforce glowing in his hands, with the windows of the Temple of Time slightly visible in the background. Only the bottom half of Link’s face is in frame. From the Triforce flow vibrant lines of images, each containing a series of “memories” from across the Zelda series in the form of small individual scenes, each representing one of the Legend of Zelda games.
